Spanish footwear industry research centre Inescop will hold an event in Valencia on November 29 dedicated to leather cutting technology, reports Leatherbiz.
It will take place at the headquarters of the Valencia Business Confederation (CEV) and will offer leather technicians and experts information about the new cutting solutions that are available.
Inescop researchers will give talks on a range of issues, including laser cutting technology, sustainable leather cutting and new training programmes for cutters.
There will also be presentations by the Leather Working Group (LWG), which will discuss the audits of cutters it has carried out, and by Spanish leather chemical and technology supplier Barrachina, which will provide information about the relationship between leather finishing and footwear finishing.
The event will be brought to a close by another Inescop researcher, who will explain the latest leather quality control methods.
