APLF Colour & Material Trends Fall Winter 2024/25

by Olivier Guillemin – [o,o] in collaboration with the Comite Francais de la Couleur

Autumn-Winter 2024/25 is a reflection of our desires in a turbulent, ever-changing world.
IMPULSE is the season’s generic theme with a positive desire to highlight innovation, creativity, spontaneity, fantasy, audacity… and even humor!
Colours and materials are inspired by eternal, natural elements like water, air, earth and fire in contrastwith the virtual and cosmic.

The 4 themes’ shades blend in surprising or regulated harmonies that combine together perfectly.

Structurally natural colours. Leather, earth and ash tones lightened up by clay yellow and chalky grege.

Timeless and exceptional materials.

Leathers with classic grains / Extra-mat skins / Box calf leathers / Corduroy suedes / Vegetable tanned leathers / Fine buffalo / Extra-dense velvety leathers / Pull-up leathers / Leathers with wood motifs / Leathers with embossed lizard motif / Shearlings / Sturdy canvas in oiled linen / Cashmeres / Classic woolens / Moiré silks with bark motifs.

Motifs & Accessories

Veined or foliage effects and bark textures / Roots and solarized prints / Embossed logos in discreet monograms / Recycled zamak metal accessories galvanized with Acroplating® / Wood, horn and bamboo accessories / Buttons and jewelry resembling marble and stone / Bits and equestrian-inspired accessories.

The symbiosis and diversification of the living, a positive ecology for a calm range dominated by greens and blues.

Materials that enhance eco-responsibility.

Feather motifs / Blurry wave prints, celestial impressions / Softer, diluted transparencies / Pearlized and iridescent metal accessories / Leather-sheathed accessories / Braided webbings, handles and straps / Buttons and jewelry in recycled resin.

A radical range where basics are confronted by flamboyance, intense red and bold orange for a graphic mood.

Materials that invite us to imagine the future.

Mesh leathers / Heat-formed leathers / Mirrored calfskins / Patent, criss-crossed Saffiano grains / Leathers with

a wrinkled paper look / Oiled leathers / Exotic, patent leather skins / Bi-material and bi-colour double-faces / Rubbery hands /
