After studying biology, Andreas worked in a European research institute in the field of nanoparticle detection. He was then active in cancer research at the institute of biochemistry at the medical faculty of the University of Cologne. He joined LANXESS in 2011 and was technically responsible for biocides and enzymes for the leather industry. In 2021, he became Head of Technical Marketing Leather Biocides. He is responsible for new product developments, technical customer service and supports the strategy of the LANXESS leather biocide business.
