GSC Group will join the American Leather Chemists Association (ALCA) Annual Convention for the first time in 2024 with a new study. Report by ILM.
The event is due to take place from May 21-24, 2024, in Hershey, Pennsylvania and will be its 118th edition.
GSC’s study will focus on leather tanning technologies currently available on the market, with a particular emphasis on evaluating their impacts through the use of an LCA study, as well as the group’s initiatives to develop high biobased content products to obtain less impactful leathers.
The full title is The future of leather production based on chemicals evaluation in conjunction with modern tools for higher performing processes and lower environmental impact and will be presented by Riccardo Pasquale PhD on May 23.
