India - Council for Leather Exports appoints new Chairman

Rajendra Kumar Jalan has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Council for Leather Exports in India, writes ILM.


Jalan assumed office during the 178th meeting of the CLE committee of administration in New Delhi on January 16. He succeeds former Chairman Sanjay Leekha.


He has previously held the position of Chairman from 2013 to 2015 as well as serving in the governing council of the Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) and on the board of governors at the Central Footwear Training Institute (CFTI).
