Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has presented its latest design, the Black Badge Ghost Ékleipsis Private Collection, which uses lights in black leather to represent “the wonder of a solar eclipse” and is limited to 25 cars, writes Leatherbiz.

Bi-coloured and perforated leather seats capture a “360-degree twilight effect”, and more than 1,000 lights are etched into the leather ‘headliner’ roof.

The luxury carmaker has also announced CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös is to retire at the end of November.

He will be succeeded by Chris Brownridge, currently CEO of BMW UK.

Mr Torsten joined Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in 2010. During his tenure, sales have increased sixfold.
