Europe - Green Deal Leather

Italian Tanneries UNIC writes on LinkedIn that in September 2022, the two-year project ”Towards Zero Adverse Impact of the European Leather Industry (Green Deal Leather)” started, funded by the EU Commission as part of the European Social Dialogue in the tanning sector.

Within the project, the confederation of European tanners, COTANCE, and the EU trade union representation, industriAll Europe, with the active collaboration of the national tanning associations of Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Austria and Hungary, collected data and information on health and safety in European tanneries.

During the Milan fair, on Tuesday 19 September at 2.00 pm, at the LEM Ponte dei Mari (side PAD.22) in Fiera Milano SpA the international workshop will take place to present the results of the project and the analysis.

For organizational reasons, admission will be reserved for those who pre-register by requesting participation in [email protected] and then receiving confirmation.
