China - Yak Leather

Francis Tsang of the ChromeFree Leather Alliance: writes that Lhasa Tannery and Seidel Tanning Corp are excited to launch the Responsible Yak Leather in China, for China and the World.

Yaks ( free grazing by Tibetan communities ) convert grass and biomass, which humans cannot eat, into nutrient-dense meat and milk. The most fertile soils were built by the interaction between grazing ruminants and grassland will gain carbon sink potential.

Exploring the development of the Yak leather products and promoting the conservation of species will naturally improve the livelihoods of Tibetan herders.

About APLF

We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.

We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
