The LIFE GreenShoes4All project partners are promoting a survey to assess the current situation regarding these topics in order to define future strategies to be implemented in companies, writes World Footwear.

In the last years, the increased awareness and concerns about the environmental impact of consumption led to emergence of the called “green products”, green labels and product environmental certification.

However, most of the time, due to the inexistence of a clear and single certification or label both consumers and companies face specific difficulties. Consumers do not always have the right tools to compare and select greener products, while companies struggle to measure and communicate to the market regarding their greener products and sustainability.
