Trump Asks EU to Pressure Putin. By Levying Tariffs on China, India.

The president has called upon the European Union to join the United States in imposing trade penalties against China and India as he aims to push Russia to end its assault on Ukraine.

However, on Sept 10, Reuters reported that the European Union is very unlikely to impose crippling tariffs on India or China, the main buyers of Russian oil, as U.S. President Donald Trump has urged the bloc to do.
