Scotland-based leather maker Bridge of Weir has supplied its leather for the first exclusive Wood and Pickett Mini by Callum, recently delivered to model and car enthusiast David Gandy. By ILM.
The car, a collaboration between design house Callum and bespoke car specialist Wood and Pickett, combines classic Mini styling with modern design and performance.
Built on a restored Mk5 Sportspack body shell, the vehicle features a fully customised interior trimmed in Bridge of Weir’s sustainably produced leather.
The material, selected by Gandy, has a smooth, matte finish and is produced with 100% traceability and zero risk of deforestation. The leather is sourced primarily from hides within the UK and Ireland, supporting waste reduction and circular economy principles.
Bridge of Weir has a history of working with both Callum and David Gandy, having previously supplied leather for projects including the Callum Skye, the Jaguar C-X75 and several of Gandy’s personal vehicles.
The hand-built Mini, starting at £75,000 (US$102,720), is fully customisable, with each customer collaborating directly with Callum’s design team.
