Momentum for ambitious national climate plans (NDCs) continues to build.
New plans have been submitted to UN Climate Change this week – and more are expected soon.

Let’s remember: strong climate plans are investment blueprints for stronger growth and more jobs, less pollution and better health, and more secure and affordable clean energy for all.

Climate plans must also build more climate-resilient economies, and help adapt to worsening climate impacts already hammering economies and communities.

But this is not just about plans: it is about implementation.
For this, we need joined-up support and partnerships at every level and across every sector.

We need finance to turn plans and ambitions into outcomes on the ground.

The Secretariat, with the UN system and other partners, will continue to provide various practical supports to countries who need help.

Let’s build on the momentum we’ve created. Let’s ensure that we match plans with policy, and policy with impact.
