Following the announcement at APLF Leather Fair in Hong Kong that the APLF Asean leather fair will head to Indonesia, further details have now been confirmed for the upcoming APLF Asean Indonesia 2026, including its official dates, venue and event format. By ILM.
APLF Ltd, organisers of the APLF Asean leather fair, have now confirmed that the next edition will take place on November 18–19, 2026, at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) in Jakarta, Indonesia. With this confirmation now in place, the Jakarta edition represents a significant step in the expansion of the APLF Asean series, which have previously been held in Thailand and Vietnam.
Janice Lee, Director of APLF, previously noted that organisers are aiming to establish Indonesia as a more permanent host location, subject to industry support. Indonesia is Asean’s largest and most populous economy, which is driving Jakarta’s rise as one of the world’s fastest-growing manufacturing hubs, with GDP expected to grow 4–5% annually through 2030. The country is home to a wide range of footwear, upholstery and apparel production facilities serving global brands, alongside a developing tanning sector.
The 2026 event brings together more than 100 international exhibitors across leather, materials, chemicals, components and manufacturing technologies. The programme will focus on supplier–buyer matchmaking, sourcing opportunities and industry networking, targeting manufacturers, OEMs and product developers from across Southeast Asia and beyond.
APLF Asean 2026 is expected to strengthen regional supply chain connections while providing a dedicated platform for international suppliers to engage directly with buyers and manufacturers.
