Bata Group has announced the appointment of Panos Mytaros as its next Global Chief Executive Officer, effective September 15, 2025. By ILM.

Mytaros was previous CEO of Ecco, and will succeed Sandeep Kataria, who has led the company since 2020.

Kataria’s tenure encompassed a period of significant change, during which Bata responded to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and adapted to shifts in the global retail sector.

Bata Group Chairman Graham Allan said Mytaros’s background in brand development and international business management, combined with his industry expertise, made him a strong fit to lead the organisation into its next phase.
