Meatpacker Tyson Foods has announced that it will eliminate around 10% of its corporate employees and 15% of senior leadership, writes ILM.
CEO Donnie King informed employees of the cuts last week, which come as the company struggles with declining profits.
He said: “We will drive efficiency by focusing on fewer initiatives with greater intensity and removing duplication of work.”
Roles to be eliminated in senior leadership are reportedly mostly Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents.
