Decathlon outdoor brand Quechua has developed a new hiking footwear style, the MH500, as part of its spring-summer 2023 collection, offering the product with a low- or mid-height upper, as well as in an ultralight version, writes Footwearbiz.

Quechua specialises in moderate summer and winter hiking.

All the MH500 options come with a resistant sole and grip and with moisture protection in the shape of proprietary technology called Outdoor Contact.

The brand explained that the benefit of the low-height upper is a high level of freedom of movement for the ankle, with the mid-height version provides a higher level of support to the joints. Of the ultralight version, it said the boot was “perfect for fast hikers”.
