The Associação Brasileira das Empresas de Componentes para Couro, Calçados e Artefatos (Assintecal) has said that it will bring 31 international buyers to Brazil for the Inspiramais trade show, writes ILM.

The event will take place at the Centro de Eventos da Federação das Indústrias do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (FIERGS), in Porto Alegre from January 24-25, 2023.

Aiming to provide opportunities for importers from Latin America and Europe to develop business at the show, the effort is being undertaken by Assintecal through the By Brasil Components, Machinery and Chemicals program, in partnership with the Agência Brasileira de Promoção das Exportações e Investimentos (ApexBrasil).

Assintecal Superintendent Silvana Dilly noted that this builds on key export growth, saying: “Between January and October, more than US$350 million of components were exported, mainly to countries in Latin America and Europe. The value is 14% higher than that recorded in 2021.”

The organisations will also be fostering international media coverage, and ILM will be in attendance at the event. Look out for coverage on the website and in the magazine during and following the trade show.
