Brazil confirms its commitment to Asia and APLF

A contingent of 55 Brazilian companies is participating at APLF currently underway at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The national presence of the Brazilian tanning industry Is organised with the support if the Brazilian Leather project, carried out by the partnership between the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).

In Hong Kong, APLF covers the entire local and Chinese demand market, which together are the main importer of leather from Brazil, with a 31.5% share of the total exported in 2023.

During the fair, in addition to the 55 Brazilian companies exhibiting at APLF, the Brazilian sector will be represented at the Brazilian Leather project stand. The space will have materials to promote the national industry and will feature the Leather Preview exhibition (Preview do Couro), with skins specially developed by several tanneries in the country. It is an initiative that multiplies Brazil’s representation in Hong Kong and should bring results throughout 2024.

About APLF

We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.

We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
