M+ 2019 : Onsite Interview - Romans CAD

With the objective of speeding up the supply chain and linking the brand directly to the factory, Roman CAD is helping footwear manufacturers increase their speed to market which is vital in a world of changing fashion and styles.

As company partner, Jean-Marc Pedeboy explains, Romans CAD has been in business for 25 years, moving with the technological times and is shortening design to market from 200 days to 140 days with the aim of reaching just 90 days.

The platform removes time and distance between brand and factory and this is the main role of digitalization in the footwear sector that will make brands more competitive by linking them directly to the facility where they are being manufactured.
