During the closing ceremony of the 38th IULTCS international congress in Lyon on September 11, Dr S Rajamani, Chairman, IUEC India announced that the next AICLST congress will take place in Kolkata in 2026. By ILM.

The 13th edition of Asia International Conference on Leather Science and Technology (AICLST) will take at the Stadel Hotel in Kolkata between March 6-8, 2026. The congress brings together associations of leather technologists and chemists from India, China, Taiwan, Japan and New Zealand among others will be bringing together current scientific research in the leather sector taking place in Asia.

The theme of the 13th congress is “Leather 2050” and abstract submissions for scientific papers will be open between October 1 – November 30. Registrations to attend will be open from November 1, 2025.
