Most plastic-based substitutes for leather follow the linear economy: đ§đŽđ¸đ˛, đ đŽđ¸đ˛, đ¨đđ˛, đĒđŽđđđ˛. They are made from fossil fuels, wear out quickly and usually end up in landfill or incineration.
Genuine automotive leather fits a different model: the circular economy. It is a by-product of the food industry, transformed into a durable material that lasts for decades, can be repaired and reused, and even returned to the soil at the end of its life.
This is why leather is not just a premium choice for automotive interiors: it is a smarter, more circular choice for the planet.
