Leather Naturally has announced the opening of a voluntary position for a Communications Lead on its Management Board. By ILM.

The role involves overseeing the organisation’s communications strategy, working closely with the Communications Team and acting as a link between the team and the board.

Responsibilities include defining and implementing strategy and budget, leading the marketing communications team, managing World Leather Day activities and occasionally serving as a public spokesperson.

The position also requires attendance at fortnightly 30-minute team meetings and monthly one-hour board meetings.

Applicants should have at least five years’ experience in communications or marketing leadership within the leather industry, a background in leading remote teams and skills in strategy development.

Proficiency in website management, social media and digital marketing is required, along with fluency in written and spoken English.
