Leather Naturally writes on LinkedIn: The London Design Festival takes place between 13 and 19 September and it’s a must visit on the European Design circuit.

Throwing a light on sustainable materials, future product concepts and fantastic new creative talent, the week features leather design legend Bill Amberg hosting an open daily workshop, exploring the possibilities of leather now and in the future.

Over the past year, Bill Amberg Studio has been collaborating with The Leathersellers’ Foundation to provide surplus leather and offer creative mentorship to Kingston University’s Product & Furniture Design MA students.

It’s a rare opportunity to view a selection of works-in-progress prototypes and process-led experiments exploring leather’s possibilities through circular design principles, ethics and cultural context.
