The Leather & Hide Council of America (LHCA) has announced that the 2025 international final of its Real Leather. Stay Different. (RLSD) student design competition will take place in Taipei, Taiwan, on October 27-28, 2025. By ILM.
Marking the fifth edition of the globally recognised contest, this year’s event moves to Asia for the first time, reflecting the region’s growing influence in sustainable innovation and fashion design.
The final will be held at AMBI SPACE ONE, an immersive digital venue located inside Taipei 101, the world’s tallest green building.
Winners from the Apparel, Footwear, Accessories, and People’s Choice categories – as well as the overall RLSD Taiwan 2025 winner – will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Taipei to showcase their leather-based designs.
We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.
