The global beef industry continues to grow, and 2024 has seen some major players dominating the export charts. According to Statista, these are the top 10 beef-exporting countries making waves worldwide:

 

  1. Brazil: Holding the crown again this year, Brazil leads the world with a whopping 2.9 million metric tons of beef exports.
  2. Australia: A major player with 1.69 million metric tons shipped worldwide.
  3. United States: Exported around 1.5 million metric tons, securing a strong third place.
  4. India: India is one of the top 5 major countries in the world, woh export meat. A major player export 1.4 million metric tons worldwide.
  5. Argentina: One of South America’s top meat exporters, figure is around 600,000 metric tons.
  6. New Zealand: Strong in the Asia-Pacific market, especially with premium beef.
  7. Canada: Major exports go straight to the US and other premium markets.
  8. Uruguay: Exported 420,000 metric tons in 2024 — small but mighty.
  9. Mexico: Key exporter of frozen beef, especially to North America.
  10. Paraguay: Quietly building its presence in the international meat trade.
