Leather interiors win prestigious King’s award

Aston Martin was awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise for its innovative approach to combining handcraft and modern technology in the creation of bespoke leather interiors. By Leatherbiz.

The award recognises the company’s unique perforating and quilting technique that produces decorative finishes and promotes the cooling function on its ultra-luxury leather seats. Aston Martin’s proprietary manufacturing technology enables perforated holes to be crafted in bespoke patterns to a customer’s specific design.

The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the UK. Established in 1965, the awards were renamed last year to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to recognize outstanding UK businesses.

This marks the third time that Aston Martin has received the honor since 1998.
