LVMH to use AI for product design

Luxury group LVMH is partnering US-based Stanford University’s Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence Institute to explore the applications of AI technology in its business, including in product design, writes Leatherbiz.

LVMH will collaborate with Stanford HAI on research projects, concentrating on areas such as AI safety, design, human-computer and new applications of artificial intelligence technology in customer experience, marketing content and communication, manufacturing and supply chain management.

Antonio Belloni, LVMH Group managing director, said: “Artificial intelligence is a powerful technology. We acknowledge the value that it can bring as support and complement to human talent, emotions and creativity, that are core to our masons.”
