The China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) has insisted the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) will go ahead later this year. The event is scheduled to run in Shanghai from August 29-31, reports Leatherbiz.
ACLE was cancelled in 2020, 2021 and 2022 owing to covid-19 restrictions.
At a press conference in Dubai on March 14, CLIA vice-president, Chen Zhanguang, said there was much greater confidence among exhibitors and visitors, including those from overseas, about the 2023 event. He explained that visa and health requirements have been greatly relaxed now, making it much easier for people to travel to China and attend events there.
We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.
We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
