Following five years of renovation work, the Austrian parliament building was officially re-opened at the end of 2022. Built-in the late 1800s, the parliament building now houses the two chambers of the National and Federal council, writes Leatherbiz.

In the renovation works, leather from Boxmark was used in various locations, including the Plenary Hall and the meeting room of the Federal council. The leather manufacturer said that approximately 7,500 square meters of leather had been processed for the various projects, helping to preserve the historic value of the venerable building.
