The United Nations Global Compact is a non-binding United Nations pact to encourage businesses and firms worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies, and to report on their implementation.
There are more than 15 thousand companies voluntarily participating in the UN Global Compact, which signifies adopting sustainable policies towards human rights, labour, the environment and against corruption.
The Italian tannery, Dani SpA, is the only tannery to participate in the UN Global Compact and as such, agrees to publish the results of these business strategies annually.
Dani SpA recently complied with this commitment by publishing the results of its fairness, transparency, sustainability, and adherence to human rights for the period July 2021 to July 2022.
