In the province of La Rioja, the authorities of the Customs Directorate carried out four raids in which they were able to find sports shoes, textiles, and sports articles, which were in violation of the Customs Code and the Trademark Law. The merchandise that was seized.

 

 

A total of six thousand pairs of shoes worth US$250 thousand were seized by customs personnel when they were smuggled into the La Rioja city of Chilecito, from Bolivia and Paraguay.


The authorities pointed out that these raids are aimed at defending the national industry and according to reports, the seized merchandise came originally from China.
