Leather goods brand Louis Vuitton has appointed Catalin Maran as its new Leather Activities Manager, reports ILM.

In this role, Maran will reportedly lead the purchasing, development and quality of all of the leather used in Louis Vuitton collections.


Speaking on his appointment, Maran said: “In this new role, I have the chance to lead a beautiful and very talented team, passionate about the new challenges around this noble material. I am grateful to the Maison Louis Vuitton for these past 15 years and for the ones to come.”


Maran has been with the brand for almost 15 years, previously working as Industrial Operations Manager for Men’s Leather Goods.
