Central to Sadesa’s leather making processes is sustainability at all levels and the company runs its “Sadesa – Friends of the Environment Programme” in all its leather making processes.

Such environmental care includes the reduction of water use, the treatment and recycling of water, energy conservation using solar panels, chromium recycling and the use of waste products for gelatine, fertilizers, and cosmetics.

Its latest leather collection CONNECTIONS SS24 has just been launched, is suitable for all applications, and is produced using all the sustainability experience gained by Sadesa during its 80-year history.

The results are reflected in Sadesa’s Lifecycle Analysis (LCA), showing that their leathers have 75% less environmental impact than average industry leathers, and these results are available on the Higg Index website.

About APLF

We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.

We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
