31 March 2022

On the eve of the first APLF exhibition since 2019, event director, Grace Lee, has said she thinks people have a strong desire to meet in person again, reports Leatherbiz.

Ms Lee said a lot of work had gone into the 2022 event, which will take place in Dubai rather than Hong Kong because of ongoing complications arising from the covid-19 pandemic.

She said the organisers were encouraged by a high level of registered visitors from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh and said this would compensate, to some extent, for the inability of many leather industry professionals in China, where strict travel restrictions still apply, to attend.

About APLF

We bring leather, material and fashion businesses together: an opportunity to meet and greet face to face. We bring them from all parts of the world so that they can find fresh partners, discover new customers or suppliers and keep ahead of industry developments.

We organise a number of trade exhibitions which focus on fashion and lifestyle: sectors that are constantly in flux, so visitors and exhibitors alike need to be constantly aware both of the changes around them and those forecast for coming seasons.
