APLF has launched a new training platform – APLF Academy, to provide foundational and advanced knowledge courses tailored for designers, merchandisers, and fashion enthusiasts to learn more about leather, from its history, usage, manufacturing process to chemical applications and sustainability.

APLF has been leading the leather and fashion industry since 1984 and has become a knowledge exchange platform cultivating a strong knowledge tank where the community, in particular designers and newcomers can benefit from. APLF Academy is the platform which proactively provides a more direct pathway for the industry to absorb the latest insights.

For the first launch, APLF Academy is proud to announce the partnership with Eurofins | BLC and The Hong Kong Hide & Leather Traders’ Association to offer a series of courses to the entire leather and fashion supply chain. Learners can find short and long, free and paid courses to suit the learning at own pace. Courses will be presented in video, presentation or other interactive trainings. Learners can take quizzes to consolidate their knowledge and obtain a course certificate.
