Leather Industry - Leather Making is Part of a Circular Economy

Leather making is one of the oldest examples of the circular economy, as it transforms raw hides into a material that is durable and stylish like no other, writes Silvateam SpA.

 

 

Now, as the health of our planet is threatened by over 2 billion tons of waste generated annually, continuing to give new life to 13.1 million tons of raw hides deriving from the food industry has never been more important.
