Best of APLF Awards September 2016 winner list

The winners of the Best of APLF Awards (BOAA) September 2016 were announced on 23 September 2016 during Fashion Access and Cashmere World 2016.

There were a total of 4 winners with 3 Fashion Access exhibits and 1 Cashmere World exhibit.

Description: For the artful utilisation of felt in their collection, with its minimalist forms, block colours and exemplary workmanship, giving their bags a high-end, contemporary feel.

Country: Italy
Winning category: Best Footwear Collection
Description: For its fashionable line of high quality shoes and sandals with interestingly strong yet restrained silhouettes and embellishments in the uppers and soles that give this cohesive collection a youthful, urban, sportive but refined character.

 

Company: Bags Business Limited
Country: Hong Kong
Winning category: Newcomer Award
Description: A Newcomer Award is given to this fledgling fashion company set up in Hong Kong by two young Russian designers in April 2016. Their fresh take on classic bag forms, with their light colour palettes and interesting detailing has resulted in a sweet yet sophisticated collection suited for the youth market that they are a part of.

Country: China
Winning category: Best Stand (at Cashmere World)
Description: For their minimalist yet impactful presentation of their company's capability, shown through beautiful finished garments made from their cashmere yarns.
