The United Kingdom has officially joined the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). Together with the UK – Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA), this move encompasses significant opportunities for economic growth and enhanced collaboration among the two nations.

Since establishing a Strategic Partnership in 2010, bilateral trade between the UK and Vietnam has surged to $8 billion in 2024, driven by steady growth across critical sectors such as technology, renewable energy, financial services, and education—despite global challenges.
