France – New study will reveal current consumer attitudes to leather

National industry body Alliance France Cuir has announced that it is preparing to release a new report on attitudes to leather among French consumers. By Leatherbiz.
It will share the results of the study at the Sustainable Leather Forum in Paris on September 7. Philippe Gilbert, who is responsible for the economic reports that Alliance France Cuir publishes regularly, will take the audience through the main findings.
The new study is based on a recent poll among French consumers, canvassing their views on leather, sustainability, durability, transparency and other issues that affect their buying decisions.
Alliance France Cuir said the exercise will provide insight into current public perceptions of leather that will benefit the entire leather value chain.
