China - Beijing Updates Visa Requirements for Foreign Visitors

According to CCTV News, starting 1 June, China’s unilateral visa-free has added 5 more countries These changes will make visa free travel to APLF and Informa events in China more accessible for international buyers travelling from Latin America.


Starting ton June 1, China will implement a visa-free policy for ordinary passport holders from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Uruguay, and China’s unilateral visa-free “circle of friends” has added new members.


From June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026, ordinary passport holders from the above five countries can enter China without a visa for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, exchanges, and transit for no more than 30 days.


This is the first time that China’s visa-free policy has been expanded to countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. So far, the number of countries that apply the unilateral visa-free policy to China has expanded to 43.
