They are an expression of companies\u2019 willingness to invest in technology and in social capital, to take a long-term view.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He went on to say that Tuscan companies\u2019 expertise in producing leathergoods showed this well. \u201cThe quality of the materials this sector uses helps to set it apart,\u201d he said, \u201cand this is a benefit of being close to the Santa Croce tanning district.
