Its next edition will take place from March 12 to 14, featuring 32 individual exhibitors linked to Brazil\u2019s tanning industry. This participation is supported by the Brazilian Leather project, a partnership between the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).  <\/p><p><br>This event is a landmark for the sector globally, as it has the power to signal potential market growth and trends for the entire year. APLF covers all leather-consuming segments in Hong Kong and China, which together represent the largest importers of Brazilian leather, accounting for 33.8% of total exports in 2024, a 20.8% increase compared to 2023. \u201cThe fair also attracts major buyers from other key regions in the leather industry, such as the United States (the second-largest destination for our exports in 2024) and Europe (with Italy as a benchmark, having imported 11.4% of Brazil\u2019s leather last year),\u201d highlights Rog\u00e9rio Cunha, from CICB\u2019s Trade Intelligence team. He will be in Hong Kong for a series of activities focused on trade and institutional representation of Brazilian leather.   <\/p><p><br>Brazilian Leather project manager Let\u00edcia Luft shares that, in addition to Brazilian exhibitors, other countries will also have collective pavilions at APLF, including Italy, France, Australia, and Turkey. \u201cThe global leather industry is fully represented at this fair, so we always invest significant efforts in promoting business opportunities and also the image of Brazilian leather here,\u201d she states. As Let\u00edcia emphasizes, during the three days of the fair, the Brazilian leather sector will be fully represented with a Brazilian Leather project booth, featuring materials showcasing the national industry\u2019s attributes and the Leather Preview exhibition, displaying special leather selections developed by various tanneries from Brazil.
