By <a href=\"https:\/\/leatherbiz.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leatherbiz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Main talking points this time are the different reactions on the buyer and seller sides of the raw material dialogue.<\/p>\n<p>One of the few sources of relief for tanners in the current environment are the stable, low prices of hides. This has led to a narrowing of the price-gaps between different types of hide. The leather manufacturing sector is taking advantage of this situation, the report says, \u201cto purchase its reduced requirements more selectively\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>On the other side of the equation, Market Intelligence says some momentum is now building behind hide suppliers who would like to push raw material prices higher.
