Leather manufacturer Bridge of Weir, a part of the Scottish Leather Group, debuted its next-generation bio-based leather at the Pebble Beach Concours d\u2019Elegance in California. By Leatherbiz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The new BioTAN technology, developed over four years, increases bio-content in leather production while eliminating fossil fuel-derived components and heavy metals. This sustainable leather made its first appearance in the interior of a restored, electrified Porsche 911 by Everrati.<\/p>\n

The debut marks a significant step in Bridge of Weir\u2019s efforts to produce environmentally sustainable leather, supporting the goals of luxury car manufacturers like Aston Martin and Jaguar Land Rover.
