By <a href=\"https:\/\/leatherbiz.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leatherbiz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Its leathergoods division registered revenues of \u20ac20.8 billion, down by 2%. Within this, it said its Louis Vuitton brand had had a good start to the year \u201cdriven by its high-quality strategy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>It said Christian Dior had also continued to show \u201cremarkable creative momentum\u201d driven by the \u201cdesirability of the collections designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Kim Jones\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Also among the group\u2019s highlights in the first six months of the year, it said the success of a leathergoods collection called Triomphe that Hedi Slimane designed for Celine had met with impressive demand.<\/p>\n<p>Another leathergoods-focused brand, Loewe, launched its first major exhibition in Shanghai, commissioned by Jonathan Anderson, as a tribute to Spanish heritage and commitment to craftsmanship, while Fendi launched a line called Pequin, reinterpreting its signature stripe.<\/p>\n<p>Chief executive, Bernard Arnault, said: \u201cThe results for the first half of the year reflect LVMH\u2019s remarkable resilience, backed by the strength of its maisons and the responsiveness of its teams in a climate of economic and geopolitical uncertainty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that, while remaining \u201cvigilant in the current context\u201d, the group was approaching the second half of the year with confidence, and will count on \u201cthe agility and talent of its teams\u201d to cement its position in luxury goods in 2024.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section data-particle_enable=\"false\" data-particle-mobile-disabled=\"false\" class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-75d80fd elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"75d80fd\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-1c00671\" data-id=\"1c00671\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-19eb4bc elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"19eb4bc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>26 July 2024 Luxury &#8211;
