The global sportswear manufacturing Group is reportedly exploring the sale of its Reebok brand, reports ILM.
Allegedly, Adidas plans to complete the sale by March 2021, with U.S. apparel maker VF Corp and China's Anta Sports among the interested parties. The internal review is said to be in the early stages, with a decision to be made in the next few months. The German company acquired the Boston headquartered Reebok for US$3.8 billion in 2005. However, in 2019, Reebok's book value nearly halved compared with 2018, to €842 million.
