Great prizes are in store for the winners again this year, awarding the maximum prize as a free trip to Hong Kong and an opportunity to win a 4-week bag design course with USD 1,000 accommodation allowance at the prestigious Arsutoria School, Milan valued at around USD 4,200, also our partner for DAB 2018.

Every year since 2007 when it was first established, DAB has brought together in Hong Kong a global design
community during the Fashion Access trade fair to showcase innovative creations to the world and exchange design concepts among talents from various cultures and backgrounds.

Major Sponsor
ARSUTORIA is a world leading fashion training school. Since 1947, it has been organising internationally recognised shoe and bag design and pattern making courses.

Competition theme: Balance
Experience the pleasure and passion of extremes in a perfect balance” highlights this year’s competition theme – Balance.

Entries are evaluated via an online platform by a panel of professional judges from around the world. They look out for unique, innovative yet trendy forms, creative use of materials and product functionality and marketability.

“Overlapping and mix of trends will create a balance in future, in which new generations will identify.”
Stefano Migliavacca, International Operation Manager of Edizioni AF (Owner of Arsutoria School) and judge of DAB 2018, Italy

The Organisers look forward to discovering the submissions of the multi-talented international designers who will participate this year in the competition, and are excited at the prospect of sharing the results with over 20,000 fashion trade visitors at Fashion Access next March in Hong Kong.
