Tanning technology developer Cartigliano has launched a new start-up that will be entirely devoted to research and development, calling it Cartigliano Ricerche. By Leatherbiz.

It said this launch had come about as a result of a major company restructuring. It explained that Cartigliano Ricerche would consist of a team of highly specialised people with expertise in areas such as physics, chemistry, aerospace and thermoelectrics. They will work with cutting-edge, artificial intelligence-enabled technology.

It said that setting up this new, dedicated company was “the start of a new era” for Cartigliano and would help it speed up growth.
