Leathergoods - LVMH’s leather goods results led by Louis Vuitton

The luxury French conglomerate LVMH  recorded 16% increase in revenue to €38.4 billion in the first nine months of 2019, with The Fashion & Leather Goods business group achieving organic revenue growth of 18% in the period, reports ILM.

LVMH’s revenue in the third quarter increased 17% year-on-year, with organic revenue growth up 11%, in line with the trend recorded in the first half of the year. According to the Group, the U.S. and Europe saw good progress in the third quarter, as well as Asia, despite the difficult context in Hong Kong.

In the first nine months of the year, LVMH’s Fashion and Leather Goods business group is reported to have achieved organic revenue growth of 18%, with the Louis Vuitton label “enjoying a remarkable performance in all its businesses and in all regions” and continuing to strengthen its production capacity with the inauguration of a new workshop in France in September.
