Cuirs du Futur is a tannery and manufacturer of stretch leather, based in Graulhet, France, the historic capital of the leather industry. In 1992, a partnership with Du Pont De Nemours enabled the first application of Lycra® fabric in the leather industry. The Lycra® lining composed with elastane fibres, allows for the leather to which it is bonded to become elastic and retain its original form after being stretched.
With its main office in the western city of Maracaibo and representative offices in the state of Yaracuy and the capital of Lara state, Barquisimeto, Commercial Jairo Leather Industries has founded some 36 years ago. The company is currently managed by Mr Jairo Noya as CEO who has extensive experience in the international leather sector and moreover in international hide exports.

We, the Organisers of APLF, announced today that the 2021 edition of APLF-Leather, Materials+ and Fashion Access will be rescheduled from 30 March - 1 April 2021 to 5 - 7 July 2021 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
The world appears to have moved from house arrest to purgatory, with little prospect of ever escaping completely from COVID-19. Hopefully before long we will have a vaccine, but increasingly this looks like only a partial solution, allied with a danger of worrying repercussions if politicians shortcut the testing process to get it something out early. Even the countries that dealt with the pandemic most effectively and thought they could get quickly back to work have been stalled by the interconnected world where troubles elsewhere impact on their ability to function effectively.
